Overview
The Academic Department of the Booker Washington Institute (BWI) is dedicated to providing high-quality education through a team of university-trained and qualified instructors and administrators. This department is responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction in a variety of academic subjects essential for the senior class examinations conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). Additionally, the Academic Department administers the annual entrance examination for prospective BWI students, in collaboration with the Admission Office. The department also supports the Post-Secondary Professional Program (PSPP) and the Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degree programs by offering relevant academic courses. Through careful curriculum development and instructor scheduling, the Academic Department ensures that all educational activities align with national and regional standards.
